Create your own little piece of the night sky in this dreamy, beginner-friendly craft night with Bellbone Hollow at Cemetery Pulp!
We’ll start with a square canvas and a gorgeous palette of deep blues, purples, pinks, and nighttime hues. You’ll learn an easy sponge painting technique to build layers of color into a beautifully blended celestial sky. No prior painting experience required!
Once our skies are painted, we’ll add a scattering of splattered stars and optional rhinestones to give each canvas its own perfectly imperfect galaxy.
Then comes the magic.
Choose from a selection of constellation templates to personalize your piece. We’ll carefully create the pattern in the canvas and add tiny fairy lights from behind, transforming those stars into glowing points of light.
When the lights come on, your constellation will actually shine against your painted night sky.
This class is designed for all skill levels. The techniques are forgiving, the night skies are meant to be unique, and there is absolutely no previous painting or crafting experience needed.
Come spend an evening painting, splattering, poking holes in things, and playing with tiny lights; All in the name of making something magical.
