This Introduction to General Combatives is the foundation of proactive self-defense methods, including Mind Setting, Environmental Awareness, and chaining instinctual reactions into a brutal yet effective defense. Please show up in comfy clothes with questions.

I've been training since the age of 14 and have about 35 years of Martial Art/Combatives experience which encompasses several Martial Arts, roughly 15ish years of tournament training and experience, as well as 12 years of assisting in teaching Women Self Defense/ Combative courses.

What I hope to start a simple course in General Combatives for self defense which includes Mind Setting, Environmental Awareness, and basic tactics while chaining instinctive movements into a quick and offensive flow of defense without demanding several years of dedicated training. Not a course in clearing a bar of honkey tonks like in Road House, but more getting away from bad situations to live another day and to press charges.
